OFCC Sues City of Cleveland Heights, Ohio The sign you see here is posted in Cleveland Heights Parks implying possession of a firearm is a crime. On Friday August 12th, 2011 Ohioans For Concealed Carry Filed a lawsuit against the City the City of Cleveland Heights. The litigation comes after many attempts to resolve concerns over laws that Cleveland Heights not only allowed to remain on their books, but also posted signs at their parks that continue to imply it is illegal to be armed. The City of Cleveland Heights has chosen to ignore our attempts at civil discourse. When individuals have contacted them representing themselves as residents of the City of Cleveland Heights their concerns apparently fell on deaf ears. When representatives of the organization have formally contacted the city's legal representation they've been laughed at and hung up on by the Law Director. 35,000 OFCC Voter Guides In The Mail

Ohioans For Concealed Carry and the OFCC PAC are pleased to announce the largest Get Out The Vote outreach effort we have conducted since our inception in 1999, and the OFCC PAC in 2002.

This week, Ohioans For Concealed Carry began distributing full-color glossy voter guides to the homes of approximately 35,000 members and supporters. The guide includes vital voter information, dates, and instructions relative to new requirements the State of Ohio has enacted, such as required proof of identification at the polls.

In cooperation with the OFCC PAC, The Voter Guide contains the Political Action Committee's candidate endorsements for 2006. We expect the guides to arrive in between today and next week Tuesday.

This year's election is to be held November 7th, a week from next Tuesday.

This mailing is a significant undertaking for Ohioans For Concealed Carry and comes with a significant cost. In an effort to recoup the costs of this endeavor, remittance envelopes were included inside the four-page mailing with a request that recipients join Ohioans For Concealed Carry and make a financial contribution to the OFCC PAC.

If you receive one of the Voter Guides, please consider a contribution. If you're not a member of Ohioans For Concealed Carry please join today to support these continued efforts to ensure that the best candidates are in office who will support gun rights reform in Ohio.
