On Monday, workers in an industrial park found the body of a well-known 70-year-old dentist, Dr. Robert Kalina, behind a dumpster in Lake County. Kalina's offices were located in neighboring Willoughby. According to NewsNet5 a friend found blood on the walls and other signs of a violent struggle in Kalina's Euclid Avenue dental office. Kalina was reportedly shot in the chest in addition to suffering head trauma. Video of the office building on local news showed a very obvious "NO GUNS" sign at the entryway to the building. While we can't easily determine if Kalina himself was licensed to carry or not one thing is for sure: The no guns sign told Kalina's attacker that nobody in the building was likely to present an armed resistance to a killer's attack. |
