 A fifteen year old Ashtabula teen defended himself and his brother when three criminals invaded their home earlier this week. Acute failure of the victim selection process resulted in one home invader hospitalized and incarcerated with a gunshot wound to the leg, and the other two escaped. According to the homeowner, the teen's aunt, one of the suspects lived on the street and knew the boys. This story could have turned tragic had the boys not been able to defend themselves and risk these violent criminals deciding to get rid of the witnesses. |
