When I apply, do I need to identify the firearm I wish to carry? |

No. Applying for a license to carry a concealed firearm in Ohio is not firearm specific. There are not restrictions on what "model" firearm you can carry so long as it is a handgun, it is not fully automatic, and it is otherwise legal to own. A definition of what exactly a handgun is can be found in ORC 2923.11, and you should read it if you questioning your choice of firearm.
