I have a concealed carry permit from another state. Will Ohio's new law recognize my license or permit? PDF Print
Ohio's CCW law requires the Ohio Attorney General to enter into reciprocity agreements with other states that require education that is similar to Ohio's.

Information on Attorney General’s Reciprocity Agreements can be viewed on the Attorney General's website here.

Ohioans For Concealed Carry cannot speculate when the Ohio Attorney General will add any specific state to the lists of states where non-resident permits or licenses will be recognized. We've been asked this question numerous times and can not offer any reliable information since it is up to the Attorney General of Ohio to negotiate these agreements with other states.

See ORC Sec. 109.69. (A)(1) and (A)(2). (See the link to Ohio CCW Laws in the right pane)
