We received quite a few submissions this morning, including
This Dispatch Article regarding the Concealed Carry Debate, and
This Toledo Blade article on the same subject, as well as
The Dayton Daily News version of events. But let us not forget this gem from
The Columbus Dispatch giving the entire NRA ILA endorsement to Jim Petro for Attorney General. Why is this relevant? Representative Larry Householder is tied into Petro's campaign, and the NRA wants their restrictive CCW legislation to pass this year. This kind of favortism explains why HB274 is in the Civil & Commercial Law Committee while every other CCW package (including Tom Brinkmans) ever considered was placed in the Criminal Justice Comimttee. Go figure.

This is an interesting story on Cleveland Live (from the Associated Press) that will probably run in Wednesday's newspaper. Check it out, they quoted Jim Ramm and others. I got a chuckle out of the fact that they couldn't get ahold of the gun control groups. They're also running a story on legislation highlights.
