This has got to be the most simplistic approach to police officers and pulling over legally armed lawful civilians. The Columbus Dispatch is starting to see (or just print) the light! Check it out:Law officers shouldn't fear concealed-carry law |

An effort to allow Ohio's law-abiding citizens to carry a concealed weapon has the support of many legislators, including Ohio Rep. Nancy Hollister of Marietta. Many people are predicting the issue will surface again this year.
Ohio is just one of seven states that does not allow citizens to carry a concealed weapon. The issue has wide support among people who believe it's their right to carry a gun for protection. Read it here:

Due to the incredibly popular WTAM & Mike Trivisonno boycott we sat on this news for a few days. Congratulations to the two people who were printed this past Sunday in the Cleveland Plain Dealer in response to Chief Gene Rowe and his anti-gun position on right to carry reform: Sheriffs group supports easing gun restrictions |

On Friday, March 23rd 2001 Mike Trivisonno (click here for biography/picture on WTAM website), quite possibly Cleveland talk-radio's most popular show and time slot on WTAM 1100 AM again insulted gun owners on his show. Mr. Trivisonno, probably one of the most obnoxious big mouths in broadcast media, supposedly called into his own show during his vacation to call the NRA and it's membership "Crazy, Redneck, Sons of Bitches". Trivisonno apparently blames the NRA, it's membership, and people like you and me for school shootings. If you're a long time follower of our efforts you'll remember he did the same thing in November of 1999 (link to old website). If you live in the northern Ohio area consider getting involved in this boycott yet again. For more information, please read on... UPDATED: Sunday, 11:53pm: See included FCC rules on personal attacks! |
