An article in today’s (27 Feb 2001) Plain Dealer says that Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell will not accept a job in Washington D.C. as was previously believed. He will, instead, begin working on a plan to run for Governor in 2006.
Mr. Blackwell is a strong supporter of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and would be a fine governor. I only wish we didn’t have to wait until 2006 for him to run. Read the entire story in the Plain Dealer

Fox 8 News in Cleveland did a story last night (02/25) on proposed CCW legislation. Although it appeared to be balanced, it ended with the same line every other story has. "If police groups don't support it, neither will the Governor." |

As many of you know, I've taken on the job of coordinating
OFCC related activities here in central Ohio. I've recently been
getting some e-mails from list members here in Central Ohio
who want to get more actively involved, so what I'd like
to do is have all of us get together on a Saturday morning
for breakfast and discuss what kinds of things we can
do to spread the word about OFCC and the benefits of concealed
