David Hunt from Sandusky writes this Letter to the editor in the Columbus Dispatch in response to a recent editorial.
Mr. Hunt puts it plainy, "...criminals are a lot more worried about getting lead poisoning than they are about being arrested by police that aren't there yet." |

Lee Leonard writes this article in theColumbus Dispatch concerning the debate over CCW.
He rightly points out that if the "225 or nothing" crowd does not compromise with HB 274 - the more restrictive CCW bill in the house - they will end up with nothing. |

This is quite likely your last chance! We have reason to believe, primarily due to the fact that next Wednesday's hearing is for all interested parties, that this is the last chance for anyone interested in speaking their mind about concealed carry legislation to show up in Columbus.
If you've been sitting at home rallying for concealed carry and doing nothing, now is the time for you to help us. Most importantly we need business owners, women, police officers, religous leaders, etc. to show up. We need everyone we can possibly muster for this meeting to come on out. Details: The hearing is at 2:30pm in room 313 of the Statehouse on Wednesday, August 15th. Arrive at least 15 minutes early IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND THIS HEARING: Please send written testimony in MS Word, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), or plain text email to
