This is a great story about concealed carry being denied to Cab Drivers. This guy has it all right, and he most definately should be at the HB274 hearings. Gun-toting cab driver fighting law I will never understand why citizens who carry firearms are "gun toting" but police officers with firearms are perfectly acceptable.

The Ohio Poll, as an organization, is criticized by some in this Capitol Gate Story. They recently released a poll, which Democrats claim is inaccurate, giving Governor Taft high approval ratings.
Earlier this year, The Ohio Poll released results of an ill-wordered survey that suggested many Ohioans did not favor CCW reform.
When asked, Eric Rademacher, director of the Ohio Poll Public Polling Institute for Policy Research, suggested that gun control activists who use the Ohio Poll numbers as evidence that voters oppose specific concealed-carry legislation—such as House Bill 225 or House Bill 274—is a stretch.

Mary McCarty writes this article Speaking but not listening in the Dayton Daily News. She references the testimony of a rape victim at last wednesday's HB274 hearing and comments on the negative e-mail that the paper recieved.
Ms. McCarty takes some of the comments the wrong way and tries to paint supporters of CCW in a negative light. Her bias shines right through.
