Refuse To Be A Victim Safety Strategies Seminar Set for April 2 in Columbus Peoples Rights Organization (PRO) is offering a Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar on April 2 from 6-9 pm in the Community Meeting Room at the Whetstone Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library (North High Street at entrance to Park of Roses). This non-firearms seminar is free and open to the public. Topics include: The Psychology of Criminal Predators; Home Security; Phone/Technology/Internet Security; Automobile Security; Physical Security; Self Defense Physical Training; Personal Protection Devices; Keeping Your Children Safe; Ideas for Seniors; and much more. PRO To Offer April Personal Protection-Handgun Class in Columbus Peoples Rights Organization (PRO) will hold a four-night NRA Personal Protection-Handgun class on April 18-19 (7-10pm), 25-26 (6-10pm). The program will be held in Columbus at the League of Ohio Sportsmen Building, 3953 Indianola Ave. (Cooke Road & I-71). Cost is $50 per person, $90 per couple. Classroom and live-fire instruction (10 hrs classroom and 4 hours range time) in a safe, secure and comfortable environment. Includes instruction on legal aspects of use of force.
