Since the beginning of Ohioans For Concealed Carry in early 1999 we've offered email discussion groups to the general public. Any question you have about joining or removing yourself from the list(s) can be found on this page. The CCW-ALERT list is open to the general public. On July 4th, 2005 we unveiled the OhioCCWForums.org and immediately experienced a significant increase in participation compared to our old email based discussion system. In 2006 ccw-talk was taken off line. If you're looking for an interactive discussion environment, visit the forums. The CCW Alert List (Medium volume) is our mass-distribution email based alert list. We have created this list solely for those people who want to stay in touch with the issue, want to be involved, but don't have the time to keep up with a discussion forum. This list is one of the most effective tools Ohioans For Concealed Carry has to keep grassroots activists in touch with breaking news. We've filled committee hearings, city hall meetings, and the phone system in the Statehouse by sending out limited urgent Action Item alerts to this list when justified. This list aims to publish between 1 and 5 messages per month at most, with no more than 10-15 when urgent politics in Columbus persist. Recipients of this list may not post to it, only OFCC staffers can. This will ensure that you will only get messages we deem necessary to send out. Everyone interested in gun rights reform in Ohio should join this mailing list. Click Here to join the list, change your settings, or if you lost your password |
