July 27, 2004 Columbus Dispatch Sen. John Kerry has portrayed himself as a hunter and advocate of Second Amendment rights in his commercials. This revelation was undoubtedly welcomed by the millions of firearms owners in the United States. Now he is the co-sponsor of a bill that will outlaw repeating shotguns and rifles. These are used by trapshooters, skeet shooters and hunters. The repeating rifles are popular hunting and competition firearms.
