Ladies & Gentlemen, the time has come again. House Bill 274 is scheduled for proponent testimony before a special sub-committee of the civil & commercial law committee this Wednesday at 2:30pm in room 313. If the House Session runs beyond 2:30pm the meeting will be immediately after session. Last week's hearing was cancelled due to a rather active session. The Scoop: Please attend this hearing and bring as many people as you can with you. However, we respectfully request that you simply not speak before the committee. Ohioans For Concealed Carry, in a united effort with every other grass roots, Ohio based, gun rights organizations is opposed to various items in the language of House Bill 274. We are making a statement by refusing to speak in support of this legislation until they resolve the problems in the bill. By attending this hearing, sitting in a seat, and simply refusing to speak your "statement" will have more than twice the impact. We intend to dispute the issues of HB274 during opponent testimony and hope you will join us then as well.
