Commentary by Larry S. Moore, OFCC Senate District 10 Coordinator: WHIO TV, Channel 7 Dayton, is reporting that a customer at a Taco Bell drive thru was stabbed. We only report Taco Bell because that is where this incident happened. It could happen at any drive thru in any town. WHIO reports customers as saying "it's a frightening crime, considering you are sort of captive in a drive thru line." Well Capt. Born, what about just driving off while in line? Like this man found it, when there is no place to run things can get ugly in a hurry. Fortunately the attacks were stopped by an off duty Montgomery County Deputy. The attacks could have just as easily been stopped by an armed citizen prepared for self-defense. Even though Ohio's concealed carry law is over one year old, there are a lot of people who just haven't given thought to the fact of life in today's society - be prepared to defend yourself or become a victim. Through years of effort dedicated Ohioans who wanted concealed carry finally prevailed in the Ohio General Assembly. The way has been paved for others. What are you waiting for? There is no food from a drive thru that is "to die for". Related Stories: Reality Check for the Ohio Highway Patrol: Don't Get ''Borned'' Just ''drive off'' if attacked in your car?
