Various television stations and news radio is reporting that a shooting took place on Cleveland's east side overnight. Initial reports indicate that the shooting may have been in self-defense during a home invasion. A woman was supposedly in her closet calling 911 after shots may have been fired at the intruders by another member of the household. We will update this story block as additional information is obtained. 8:25am: A story on Newsnet5.com (Channel 5 Cleveland) indicates a robber and victim may have both died in the fracas: 2 People Shot, Killed In Eastside Home In unrelated news, Newsnet Five is also reporting that a fifteen year old was shot and killed early this morning when Cleveland Police attempted to serve a warrant on Cleveland's south side, near Garfield Heights. |
