Issues 2-5, proposed amendments to the Ohio Constitution purported to be election reform, were highly touted by liberals in Ohio.

When they failed miserably at the polls, there could be only one reason: Ken Blackwell rigged the voting machines.

That is the claim being touted by Brad Friedman, a anti-Bush fanatic who writes for the Huffington Post.

Friedman can't comprehend that the citizens of Ohio saw though the lies and realized what the "Reform Ohio" movement was really about: changing the rules so that an unpopular regime could take over the state.

Robert Bluey, editor of Human Events Online, has an idea why Blackwell is being singled out for attack:
This demonstrates just how worried the left must be about Blackwell, a black Republican who is seeking the governor's office next year. Blackwell currently leads his two opponents in the GOP primary and matches up well against the Democrats in the race.

Similar claims were made against Blackwell after President Bush won Ohio in the last presidential election. According to the Liberal mindset, there was no way the citizens of Ohio could have voted for Bush, so the election must have been rigged...
