In the November 30, 2005 Canton Repository, there is a story that highlights how criminals are robbing businesses in the Alliance, Ohio area and using scissors and screwdrivers as weapons.

From the story:
ALLIANCE - A convenience-store employee was cut when a would-be robber sliced him with scissors during a confrontation.

Monday evening’s incident was the most recent in a series of store robbery attempts in the city.

The man tried to get money from USA Mini Mart at 2102 W. State St.

“He stuck me in my chest,” Todd Young, the USA Mini Mart employee, said. “That is when I slammed the door shut.”

The culprit ran east without taking any money.

An earlier robbery try Monday was successful as a man used a screwdriver to intimidate an employee at the Circle K at 1198 Harrisburg Rd., according to police. This robbery occurred at about 6:20 a.m. Monday.

It seems strange how gun grabbers would like everyone to believe that the world would become such a Utopian society without firearms.
