A 16-year-old Arizona teen is in the hospital and facing criminal charges after suffering from acute failure of the victim selection process.

The Arizona Republic is reporting that "the girl demanded cash from the register while pointing a small-caliber handgun at a Hollywood Video clerk and three patrons Monday night."

Unfortunately for the young hoodlum, one of the patrons had a ccw license and drew his own firearm and shot her when she pointed her gun at him.

The girl fled to an apartment, where a resident called 911. She is being held in a secure location in the hospital on suspicion of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault.
