As was expected, the Wisconsin Senate voted to override Governor Jim Doyle's veto of the ccw legislation passed by the Wisconsin legislature. In 2003, a similar bill passed, was vetoed, was overriden by the Senate, then failed an override in the State Assembly by one vote. Sources are claiming that an override will come down to two votes in the Assembly who are currently undecided. The Assembly is expected to vote on Tuesday. If passed, only three states would remain which have total bans on concealed carry. |
