The News-Herald ran a story yesterday about HB347 and SB252: Ohio lawmakers propose bills in effort to clarify weapons law
"The good news is we've had concealed carry now for going on two years, and the problems foreseen by those who've opposed it have not come to pass," said state Sen. Tim Grendell, a co-sponsor of S.B. 252.
SB252 is HB347's sister legislation in the Ohio Senate. HB347 will most likely get passed into the Senate and supercede SB252.

The House Criminal Justice Committee is scheduled for 2:30pm today in room 121 of the Ohio Statehouse. Today the committee intends to hear Sponsor Testimony on HB508, legislation to prohibit confiscation of firearms as took place in New Orleans, and per the agenda substitute HB347 is expected to be presented and possibly accepted by the committee today.
