Seventy five year-old Eleanor Lynn has dealt with people trying to break into her home before. She has obviously decided to do something about her personal safety. AKRON, Ohio -- An 75-year-old Akron woman had problems before with someone trying to break into her home, so when two teens allegedly tried to do the same thing Tuesday morning, she was ready with her gun, NewsChannel5's Brad Harvey reported. At around ten in the morning a neighbor saw two suspicious boys walking and stopping in front of Lynn's home. They kept looking at the home. Their actions tipped off the neighbor that something wasn't right, and within moments she was calling 911. The alleged home invading suspects didn't need to look twice when they found a semi-automatic pistol aimed right at them. The assailants ran when they came face-to-face with a chrome-plated automatic Lynn fondly calls "the peacekeeper."The suspects turned out to be 15 and 17 year old children, which police arrested and charged with burglary. |
