The Ohio Poll, as an organization, is criticized by some in this Capitol Gate Story. They recently released a poll, which Democrats claim is inaccurate, giving Governor Taft high approval ratings.
Earlier this year, The Ohio Poll released results of an ill-wordered survey that suggested many Ohioans did not favor CCW reform.
When asked, Eric Rademacher, director of the Ohio Poll Public Polling Institute for Policy Research, suggested that gun control activists who use the Ohio Poll numbers as evidence that voters oppose specific concealed-carry legislation—such as House Bill 225 or House Bill 274—is a stretch.
