Earlier this week three men showed up at a Mifflin Township used car dealership and split up appearing to look at vehicles when randomly one of the three fired a shot at one of the employees in a brazen attempt to rob the establishment. Local news media has been covering the story: Used-car lot owner kills man trying to rob him & Robbery Ends In Gunfire One of the employees returned fire in self-defense, and one of the three suspects, most likely the gunman, died at an area hospital. The others fled the scene and are on the run. It is not known if the employee involved in the shooting was licensed to carry a concealed handgun or not. |
