Ohioans For Concealed Carry recently filed a Merit Brief in support of our appeal of the Clyde decision to the Sixth District Appellate Court. Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro's Office, an original intervenor in the case, filed a brief supporting the appeal and joined OFCC asking the court to reach a different conclusion than they did in Beatty.
Although the issue in this case is the same, Appellant respectfully asks this Court to again consider the arguments made herein, and to reach a different conclusion...
Although a conflicting decision is unlikely Ohioans For Concealed Carry is seeking a speedy decision by the Sixth District so that our case can be appealed to the Ohio Supreme Court, and if possible, joined with the Beatty appeal.
