It started yesterday when the Cleveland Plain Dealer ran a frontpage story about the Hamilton County Lawsuit telling a sensational story of the presiding Judge's wife being the victim of violent crime twelve years ago. Today, the same efforts to discredit the Judge's ability to impratially rule in this lawsuit are being run in stories by The Cincinnati Post and The Dayton Daily News.

Toby Hoover, an anti-gun ring leader was quoted in the AP article: ‘‘It certainly sounds like he may have some personal things there connected with his judgment,’’ Hoover said. ‘‘That goes back to our feeling that this is not something for a judge to decide.’’

Earth to Toby Hoover: The Judicial Branch is responsible for declaring unjust laws in violation of the Constitution, not the legislature. Should pro-choice activists have solved Roe v. Wade in the legislature?
