As we approach the onset of hearings the House and Senate on HB12, the steering commitee of OFCC (and also OFCC PAC) are hard at work to be prepared with FACTS to counter the obligatory rhetoric that will be spouted by the liberal anti-self-defense crowd. We know we'll hear the same, tired, fear-based warnings about what might happen if "citizens carry hidden, loaded guns." Despite the fact that it hasn't happened in any other of the 44 states with some sort of CCW, these anti-self-defense groups seem convinced that Ohioans will be reduced to violent confrontation at every whim. So we thought it'd be a good idea to refresh memories and answer the question everyone is asking... What DOES happen in Ohio when law-abiding citizens are allowed to exercise their right to self-defense? NOTHING...at least, nothing bad! Click here for more. |
